Mr. Feiman brings over three decades of experience in consulting and training to his clients. Before founding Build It Backwards℠ he has spent more than 18 years in both traditional and nontraditional banking, where he developed his skills in commercial lending. As an internationally recognized speaker and trainer, Mr. Feiman also has developed and presented hundreds of successful seminars, training programs and educational courses to thousands of attendees around the world with topics covering all aspects of strategy, finance and leadership.
He has published podcasts, whitepapers, articles, SlideShare presentations, videos and books on strategy, finance, leadership and succession. His fourth book in the Build It Backwards℠ series, THE Book on…Succession Planning Systems: The 30 Secrets to Leadership Development, has reshaped how organizations approach succession and leadership development. His third book was nominated for the AM&AA's Thought Leader of the Year award and named a finalist for the Global eBook of the Year Award. He has been quoted in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, American Bankers Association Journal, and Beverly Hills Business. Mr. Feiman has also contributed to books on strategic planning and career outplacement.
Mr. Feiman earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge and his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He received his certificate from the UCLA Instructor Development Program, taught for 25 years as adjunct faculty at UCLA Extension’s Department of Business and Management, was The Visiting Professor in the University of Huddersfield’s (UK) Business School and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC©).*

Robin Marans
Operations Manager
Ms. Marans has over three decades of experience in operations management. Her expertise is primarily concentrated in the areas of Office Management, Production Management, and Human Resources. Her capabilities include creating budgets, establishing internal controls, and implementing HR processes.
Of her 30+ years’ experience, she spent 11 years overseeing operations in the entertainment industry for television, movie, and theater productions. Ms. Marans further diversified her skills while managing the operating side of a multimedia training company that worked with firms such as Federated Group, Big 5, Kroger Grocery Stores, L.A. Department of Water & Power (DWP), Great Western Bank, Dillards, Household Finance, Security Pacific Bank, and SportMart.
